We went up to the top of South Mountain just to cool off a little because it is a a tiny bit cooler up here than it is in the valley. And it’s pretty crowded. In this photo I’m looking east towards Tempe, and managed to capture a rainbow and god beams in one photo. I took several exposures so that I could process them all with Photomatix.
I didn’t know that god beams are really called Crepuscular Rays. Ugh! Here’s more about them at wikipedia.
