Wild Berries 3

When I was a kid, my grandpa brought us a small raspberry bush for our new house on Monac Drive. We had a garden next to the garage, bordered by a white picket fence. We had strawberries, zucchini, tomatoes and other vegetables. Grandpa planted his single raspberry in a corner of the garden.

Red Fairy Duster

There are usually fairy duster-type flowers in bloom during most of the year in Arizona.

Double Bass Rosin with Music

Subtitled Fun in the Pit. Melted, squashed, lint-covered Kolstein double bass rosin from Waldir’s pocket. In the background is typical opera bass music.

Single Coreopsis flower.

Single Pansy

From my second favorite secret garden, located at Shepherd of the Hills United Church of Christ. A beautifully landscaped courtyard is cut off from the world by hedges and trees. So peaceful.

The desert willow is a wonderful tree: drought tolerant and beautiful flowers.
